Taste of India

Saturday, April 27

Taste of India is one of the largest Asian Indian Festivals in Virginia attracting about 7,000 to 10,000 people each year. It is a collaborative effort of hundreds of Indians living in Hampton Roads to share the heritage with residents of Hampton Roads. It is one of the most popular cultural, single-day events organized by any ethnic group in the region. This year’s theme is Rivers: The Lifelines of India. The 13th annual event will include: lively entertainment with colorful Bollywood and classical dances, a yoga demonstration, a local dance competition along with kid carnival games. In addition to Indian cuisine, there will be vendor booths featuring Indian clothes and handcrafts. Sponsorship and exhibiting opportunities are still available.
