The Norfolk Police Department will host its annual Peace Officers' Memorial Ceremony on Thursday, May 18, at 9:30 a.m. in the courtyard next to the MacArthur Memorial. This event is open to the public. Please join us as we remember the service and sacrifice of our officers during Norfolk Peace Officers' Memorial Week. 

Complimentary parking will be available at the MacArthur Center South Deck Garage.

Since 1962, the week of May 15 has been designated National Police Week by the Congress of the United States. Each year, NPD holds a service to honor the memory of our police officers who have given their lives in the line of duty. During this service, we also pay tribute to surviving family members of our fallen officers.
