  1. MacArthur On Ice and Winter Carnival

    MacArthur Center kicks off the 13th season of MacArthur On Ice, sponsored by Longwood University. Whether it’s a family tradition or a first date, the center’s 7,200-square-foot outdoor ice rink is the place for good times this winter. As an extra treat, skaters will be delighted with a magical snowfall! The fluffy flakes will fall each night during three designated periods. Season passes and birthday party packages are available.

    The latest addition to the Untamed Arts series, Wreath Havoc gives you the chance to unwind with a glass of wine or beer and get in touch with your creative side. Participants will use a variety of freshly-­cut greens, herbs, dried fruits and vegetables and other accouterments harvested from Zoo grounds to make their very own one-­of-­a-­kind wreath.
