  1. MacArthur On Ice and Winter Carnival

    MacArthur Center kicks off the 13th season of MacArthur On Ice, sponsored by Longwood University. Whether it’s a family tradition or a first date, the center’s 7,200-square-foot outdoor ice rink is the place for good times this winter. As an extra treat, skaters will be delighted with a magical snowfall! The fluffy flakes will fall each night during three designated periods. Season passes and birthday party packages are available.

    This tacky sweater Christmas-themed event has a little something for everyone with a competitive 5K race, 5K walking category, and a themed tacky sweater competition. All 5K runners will receive a race T-shirt, finisher medals, post-race refreshments, and festive post-race awards ceremony. Enjoy entertainment by DJ E.
