  1. MacArthur On Ice and Winter Carnival

    November 18, 1:00 PM, 2017 - January 15, 2018, 9:00 PM @ MacArthur Center

    MacArthur Center kicks off the 13th season of MacArthur On Ice, sponsored by Longwood University. Whether it’s a family tradition or a first date, the center’s 7,200-square-foot outdoor ice rink is the place for good times this winter. As an extra treat, skaters will be delighted with a magical snowfall! The fluffy flakes will fall each night during three designated periods. Season passes and birthday party packages are available.

  1. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ceremony and Walk

    January 15, 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Attucks Theatre

    The City of Norfolk in partnership with the Garden of Prayer Church is hosting the annual MLK march and ceremony. After the celebration at the Attucks Theatre, participants will walk to the MLK Jr. Memorial at Brambleton and Church St. for a wreath-laying ceremony.
