  1. 2018 Jam'n Jamz Fruit & Nut Tree Adoption Fair

    January 27, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Ernie Morgan Environmental Action Center

    The City of Norfolk Department of Recreation, Parks and Open Space, Keep Norfolk Beautiful and Friends of Norfolk’s Environment have added new fruits and trees to the traditional line-up. Norfolk Beekeepers, Grow Norfolk, Kids Corner and Tree Trivia will be present, making this an event for the entire family. There will be jam tasting and cooking demonstrations for when it is time to enjoy the “fruits” of your labor. Households can receive only two trees to ensure adequate pollination and must agree to plant and maintain the tree. A follow up survey will also be sent out after trees have been planted.
