The MacArthur Memorial is hosting its third annual Military History Film Festival August – October 2018. To commemorate the World War I Centennial, the 2018 films will focus on the courage and sacrifice of American troops in World War I. The film festival will kick off on August 9, 2018. In partnership with the Military Aviation Museum of Virginia Beach, the MacArthur Memorial will screen The Millionaires' Unit (2015) (120 mins).The festival will continue with screenings of The Fighting 69th (1940) on September 13, 2018 and Sergeant York (1941) on October 4, 2018. All screenings will take place in the MacArthur Memorial Visitors Center Theatre at 7:00 PM. Admission is FREE but registration is requested. Bhav Brigade brings the yoga flow every Wednesday after work with an all levels, donation-based outdoor class. For those new to the class, if you're standing at the Pagoda facing the Elizabeth River, you'll see a long pier to the right - that's where you can join the Bhav!

Wednesday evenings this summer at Community Beach Park in Norfolk: Bring your own beach chair and beverage of your choice for informal conversations about our spiritual journeys together. If you park to the left side of the parking lot - we usually gather down on the beach on that left side.

Find out about plans for I-64 improvements from Settlers Landing (exit 267) in Hampton to I-564 (exit 276) in Norfolk. The proposed project will widen this segment of the I-64 corridor from four lanes to six full-time lanes plus two part-time shoulder lanes. A new bridge-tunnel crossing of the Hampton Roads is included.
