  2. MacArthur Memorial 3rd Annual Military History Film Festival

    August 9, 7:00 PM - October 31, 9:00 PM @ The MacArthur Memorial Visitors Center

    The MacArthur Memorial is hosting its third annual Military History Film Festival August – October 2018. To commemorate the World War I Centennial, the 2018 films will focus on the courage and sacrifice of American troops in World War I. The film festival will kick off on August 9, 2018. In partnership with the Military Aviation Museum of Virginia Beach, the MacArthur Memorial will screen The Millionaires' Unit (2015) (120 mins).The festival will continue with screenings of The Fighting 69th (1940) on September 13, 2018 and Sergeant York (1941) on October 4, 2018. All screenings will take place in the MacArthur Memorial Visitors Center Theatre at 7:00 PM. Admission is FREE but registration is requested.   2. ST. Paul's Housing & Relocation Meeting For Tidewater Gardens

    August 22, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ The Basilica of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception

    Join us as we continue the master planning for the St. Paul's area. As part of the CNI process, Torti Gallas + Partners will return to unveil the master plan vision which will include housing and commercial development for the area. During this meeting NRHA will also present the relocation sequence for NRHA apartments located within Tidewater Gardens. NRHA staff will be on-site to discuss relocation, available resources and rights and responsibilities for the NRHA residents of the Tidewater Gardens Community.
