  1. Virginia Stage Company and Hermitage Museum & Garden Presents: Miss Kitty's House of Cosmic Love

    February 23, 7:00 PM - March 9, 10:00 PM @ Hermitage Museum & Gardens

    This is the third year the two arts organizations (Virginia Stage Company & Hermitage Museum & Garden) have collaborated to present an adults-only immersive performance series throughout the Hermitage mansion. The 2019 theme is a futuristic western where visitors will tour Miss Kitty’s various rooms throughout the museum while enjoying beverages and spicy entertainment. Local artists will contribute designs and props. Ages 18+ only Tickets for Opening Night are $60 for members and $70 for non-members. Thursday performances are $25 for all tickets and Friday and Saturday tickets are $30 for members and $40 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased online only at TheHermitageMuseum.org.

  2. Admirals Fan Event

    March 3, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Virginia Zoological Park

    An exclusive event for Virginia Zoo Members and Norfolk Admirals Season Pass Holders only! Come meet some of your favorite Admirals hockey players, get their autographs, and take a spin around the Admirals’ inflatable “ice” rink. There will be also appearances from the Admirals and Zoo mascots and Zoo animal ambassadors. Events will be held in the Zoo’s Event Pavilion and the Zoo will be open for all guests after the event has ended. 12:30 pm: Check-in begins for Admirals Season Pass holders 1-2 pm: Player autographs 2-3 pm: Mix and mingle with Admirals players and Zoo Animal Ambassadors This event is free for Zoo members and Norfolk Admirals Season Pass Holders. A valid Virginia Zoo membership card or Proof of Admirals Season Pass required. A check-in station for Admirals Season Pass holders will be set up outside the Zoo entrance.

  3. VIRGINIA ARTS FESTIVAL: LAWRENCE BROWNLEE, TENOR AND ERIC OWENS, BASS-BARITONE

    Hear the reigning male stars of opera in this extraordinary performance! Lawrence Brownlee is acknowledged as “one of the world’s leading bel canto tenors” (Associated Press), and has taken the opera world by storm, performing at nearly every major opera house and with dozens of world-class orchestras. “The towering bass-baritone Eric Owens” is acclaimed for his “magnificent, powerful, unbearably moving” (The New York Times) performances in the great roles of opera as well as new works. For the Virginia Arts Festival, this pair of virtuoso voices join in a program of operatic classics and spirituals in the Attucks Theatre, where the echoes of history complement their performance.
