  1. "A Saturday in Ocean View" photographs by Glen McClure

March 15 - April 26 @ Offsite Gallery, World Trade Center

Glen McClure’s photographs forge a connection between the subject and the viewer. For this exhibition, Glen and a team of four created portraits of random people encountered in parking lots, on sidewalks and at the beach entrance to the Chesapeake Bay during a September 29, 2018 visit to the Ocean View neighborhood. With over 60 solo exhibitions since 1997, Glen’s work can be found in collections at the Chrysler Museum of Art, the Mariners’ Museum, the Taubman Museum of Art and in numerous private collections.

  4. Art Supply Swap

    April 7, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Creative Reuse Center

If you asked us, what the one business we need in NEON is, it would have to be an art supply store. There’s not one yet, however the next best thing is next month’s art supply swap hosted by Bearded Bird Brewing and the 757 Creative Reuse Center. Launched up the street from NEON in February as a long-term pop up at 1904 Granby Street, the not for profit Creative Reuse Center is dedicated to sustainability, art, craft and education. During the meet-up on Sunday, April 7, 10am-1pm, artists can bring new and gently used art supplies to the Bird and NEON to swap, shop and create.
