[ARCHIVED] NPD Investigates Individual Robbery and Gunshot Victim

On August 11, 2014 at approximately 10:05 p.m., a call was received in the Emergency Communications Center (911) for a robbery to an individual that just occurred in the 1100 block of Mariner Street. Norfolk Police responded and discovered an adult male who stated he was just robbed by unknown suspects. The victim stated during the robbery that one of the suspects fired a gun, and resulting in the bullet grazing the victim. The victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Norfolk Detective Division is actively investigating this incident.
