[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police Seeking Information on Middlesex Street Homicide

Updated Release: Last night's homicide victim has been identified as 17-year-old Travious M. Keeling of the 400 block of Middlesex Street. The exact cause of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The Norfolk Police Department is encouraging anyone with any information about this crime to contact the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Information leading to an arrest can earn a reward of up to $1,000.

Previous Release: Police responded to the 400 block of Middlesex Street for a possible gunshot victim shortly after 11:30 pm yesterday evening. Upon arrival, police discovered a 17-year-old young man unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The teenager was pronounced at the scene by Norfolk Fire Rescue. Police have not released any suspect information at this time. Norfolk Detectives are actively investigating this incident and are encouraging anyone with any information to contact the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
