[ARCHIVED] Father and Son Face Felony Charges

Norfolk Police Detectives with the Economic Crimes Division have arrested 2 men for Obtaining Money by False Pretense and Fraud.

44-year-old John Arthur Wilson, and 21-year-old John Arthur Wilson Jr., are both facing felony charges; other charges are pending as the investigation continues.

The 2 men operate a company called “Wilson House Doctor’s Home Improvement Company”. Between 4/13/2015 and 6/18/2015, the 2 men fraudulently and by false pretense obtained over $23,000 from an 85-year-old woman and 92-year-old man by claiming they were performing home improvement on the Norview couple’s home.

Norfolk Detectives are asking anyone who may have been a victim of the Wilson House Doctor’s Home Improvement Company to contact the Economic Crimes Division at (757) 664-7018.
