NORFOLK, VA. – (NPD) A motorcyclist died
Saturday morning from his injuries suffered in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Granby Street.
First responders were called to the crash scene shortly after 1:20 a.m. in the 4200 block of Granby Street. Despite first aid efforts provided to the
man, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s name will not be released until
his family has been notified.
Preliminary information reveals the
motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Granby Street where he lost control, struck
a curb, then a sign.
As the traffic fatality team
continues to investigate the crash, southbound Granby Street in the 4200 block
is expected to be closed until 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police encourage anyone who may have witnessed
