NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have charged two men in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on January 4, 2016.
Around 10:54 p.m., dispatchers received a call for a gunshot disturbance in the 2600 block of Waverly Way. When police arrived, they found Christopher Allen, 27, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Allen, of the 1100 block of Jernigan Avenue, was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
As a result of the investigation, the following individuals have been arrested:
Raymond Martin, 34, of the 800 block of E. 27th Street, has been charged with second degree murder, malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony x 2, shooting into an occupied dwelling, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
Tremaine Martin, 37, of the 2300 block of Waverly Way, has been charged with second degree murder, malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony x 2, shooting into an occupied dwelling, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
