NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk
police have arrested a 14 year-old in connection with a shooting that left two
teenagers injured on Cary Avenue.
On Wednesday around 2 p.m.,
police responded to the 2300 block
of Cary Avenue for a gunshot
disturbance. When first responders arrived in the area, they located two 16-year-old juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds. Both teenagers
were taken to Sentara Norfolk General
Hospital for treatment and are expected to be okay.
As a result of the investigation, a juvenile has been
charged with two counts of malicious wounding, two counts of use of a firearm, possession of a firearm by juvenile, burglary, and grand larceny.
He is currently being held at the Norfolk Detention Home.
Detectives have not
released the circumstances surrounding the double shooting; however, they
