[ARCHIVED] Police arrest two people in connection with the homicide on Campostella Road

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police have arrested two people in connection with the shooting death of 54-year-old Rodney Epps that occurred on Campostella Road.

On July 1, 2019 first responders were called to the 400 block of Campostella Road for a gunshot disturbance. When officers arrived, they found Rodney Epps suffering from a life threatening gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him deceased on scene.

On July 4, 2019, two suspects were identified and taken into custody.

Dajuan May-Daily, 20, and Hannah Moore, 18, were arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Both are being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.

Detectives have not released the motive or circumstances surrounding this deadly shooting.
