[ARCHIVED] Man arrested following stabbing in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A 44-year-old man is facing charges for a stabbing that occurred
Tuesday morning in Norfolk that left woman injured.  Booking photo of Eric Hickman

Detectives have charged Eric Hickman with malicious wounding and strangulation.

The charges stem from a stabbing that occurred in the 7400 block of Fenner Street around 9:50 a.m.

The victim, a 54-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Hickman is being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
