[ARCHIVED] Man seriously injured in Alexander Street shooting

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are investigating a shooting that has left a 23-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.

Shortly after 11:00 p.m., police in the immediate area responded to the 6200 block of Alexander Street after hearing several gunshots. When they arrived, they were advised that a man suffering from a gunshot wound was driven to the hospital by a concerned citizen. The man is currently listed in critical condition.
