[ARCHIVED] Police need your help identifying a bank robbery suspect

NORFOLK, Va. – (NPD) Norfolk police are hoping someone can help them identify the suspect that robbed a Wells Fargo bank Friday afternoon.

On July 12, 2019, around 4:30 p.m., an adult man entered the Wells Fargo bank located at 440 Monticello Avenue and demanded money from the clerk.

The clerk complied with his demands and the suspect fled the location prior to police arrival.

The suspect is described as a black man around 25 to 35 years old, approximately 5'9" to 6’ with long facial hair from his chin. He was last seen wearing a white V-neck t-shirt, dark jeans, and black and white sneakers.

There were no injuries reported.

Detectives are asking if you recognize the man in these surveillance photos or know anything about this crime to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP
