City of Norfolk Extends Closure of All City Buildings

City buildings will remain closed until further notice

NORFOLK, VA – Until further notice, all city buildings will remain closed to the public.

Norfolk city employees will continue to report to work.  Essential services, including trash pick-up and services provided by Norfolk Community Services Board, will continue as normal.  The public is encouraged to use the many online options to access city services and make payments.

Have a question? The FAQ on the front page of Norfolk.gov has the answer.

Norfolk Cares is experiencing an increase in calls for bulk waste pickups. Residents can avoid longer than normal call wait times and use the MyNorfolk mobile app and online portal at Norfolk.gov to request a bulk waste pickup.

Watch tonight’s City Council meeting online. Tune in at 7pm tonight on www.norfolk.gov! The Formal Session will be live-streamed and made available on www.youtube.com/norfolktv following proceedings. The Formal Session Agenda can be found here:
