[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police need help identifying larceny suspect

NORFOLK, Va. – (NPD) Detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify the suspect who was seen on camera breaking into vehicles in a downtown Norfolk parking garage.

Police responded to Bank Street Parking Garage located at 328 E. Freemason Street on June 20, 2020 for the report of a car larceny. A citizen reported that they had returned to their vehicle after it had been parked in the garage overnight and several items were missing, including a firearm.

Security footage from inside the parking garage showed that around 10:15 p.m. on June 19, 2020 the suspect was pulling on car doors to see if they were locked. The suspect entered the unlocked vehicles and stole items.
