Resident responses needed by December 13.
NORFOLK, VA – The City of Norfolk seeks to understand the decisions residents make about housing and their experiences living, working or going to school in Norfolk.
Responses to a short, 30-question survey will help Norfolk take meaningful action to address needs, overcome segregation, promote fair housing choice, and foster inclusive communities that are free from discrimination. The survey closes December 13.
Norfolk is a recipient of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development funding in order to collect updated information on housing and community development needs. Responses to this survey will be included in Norfolk’s Five-Year Consolidated Plan.
Norfolk’s plan will be made available publicly for comment and review prior to adoption. Find more information on the city’s HUD page in the Office of Budget and Strategic Planning.
For questions about the Consolidated Plan process, survey and/or request translations of the survey into a language other than English, contact Megan Erwin, HUD Compliance Manager, at 757-664-4257 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
