[ARCHIVED] Four juveniles injured following shooting on Madison Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate this afternoon’s shooting that left four injured.

Shortly after 2:00 p.m. police were dispatched to the 900 block of Madison Avenue for the report of a gunshot disturbance. When Officers arrived in the area, they did not immediately find any gunshot victims. A short time later dispatch was notified of several gunshot victims who had arrived at local hospitals in a car. 

Officers responded to the hospital and found the four gunshot victims from the shooting, a 6-year-old girl, a 14-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl, and 16-year-old boy. The 6-year-old girl was reported to have life-threatening injuries; however, she is now considered to be in stable condition.

The 14-year-old boy and both 16-year-olds all sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and are expected to recover.
