Public Input Needed for Chesapeake Bay TMDL Action Plan

The City of Norfolk is seeking public input during the development of the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Action Plan for the Chesapeake Bay.

The City of Norfolk is seeking public input during the development of Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Action Plans for both the Chesapeake Bay and Elizabeth River.  A TMDL is a “pollution diet” that sets maximum amounts of pollutants that a waterway can receive without violating water quality standards.

Public comments for the TMDL Action Plans may be sent during the period of May 4, 2018 to June 4, 2018 via e-mail to Michelle.Williams@norfolk.gov or as hard copies to the following address:

Department of Public Works – Storm Water Management
POC:  Michelle Williams, Public Relations Specialist
2233 McKann Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23509
