Shape the Future of Transportation on Granby Street

The Department of Transit is hosting two open house community meetings for the Granby Street Multimodal Transportation Project.

NORFOLK, VA – Learn how bikes, buses and vehicles can safely travel together on Granby Street.  The Department of Transit is hosting two open house community meetings for the Granby Street Multimodal Transportation Project.
  • Monday, June 24, 6:30-8:00pm at Mary D. Pretlow Library, 111 W. Ocean View Ave
  • Wednesday, June 26, 6:00-7:30pm at Northside Middle School, 8720 Granby St
This project will help shape the future of multimodal transportation options along Granby Street between Bayview Boulevard and Ocean View Avenue. The project involves reallocating space from one automobile lane in each direction to multimodal lanes.   

Attendees will also can:
  • Review and provide input on traffic study results and conceptual design options
  • Learn about Strategic Bike Plan goals, recommendations and implementation processes
  • Learn how bicyclists and drivers can safely share the road
