From the Director's Chair...

As one of our favorite events of the year (Summer Reading Program) continues on, I want to highlight all things natural. All throughout July, you can enjoy JB’s Rattles, Teeny Tiny Farm, the Virginia Living Museum, Norfolk Botanical Garden and Norfolk Master Gardeners. Be sure to log your reading minutes to be entered in to win Moonet or one of our other great prizes! Sonal Rastogi

Youth Summer Reading Program

June 7 to Aug. 2

“Color Our World,” celebrates the joy of brightening our lives through books! This summer, our beloved mascot Moonet will be at every branch to inspire our community to dive into reading. By logging your reading minutes in Beanstack, you’ll be entered for a chance to win an adorable Moonet plushie! NPL is providing FREE USDA approved meals and FREE BOOKS for all children 18-and-under during the summer break, in partnership with Norfolk Public Schools and the Friends of the Norfolk Public Library. Click here to view the full schedule.
