Adult Literacy Classes

Tuesdays @ 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

In partnership with Norfolk Public Schools’ Adult Education Services, adults are provided a chance to work with an instructor on improving their reading, writing, basic math and digital skills. Contact sierra.bullock@norfolk.gov to register.

Book Spine Painting

Friday, Jan. 9 from 4 – 5 p.m.

Create an abstract, representational painting on a narrow, upcycled canvas or cardboard piece, inspired by the book spines at Park Place Branch. Register at norfolk.libcal.com.

Art for Adults: Open Studio

1/13, 2/10, 3/10, 4/14 & 5/12 from 10:30 a.m. – noon

Come make art at Janaf Branch Library! Art supplies such as paint and colored pencils will be provided, and we will have nooks available for inspiration. This is an opportunity to let your creativity flow, not a class with formal instruction. Register at norfolk.libcal.com.

Downtown Norfolk Architectural Tour

New Year New Jewelry
