Where have the Pace bikes been?
Zagstar hibernates all of their Pace bikes during the winter because ridership drops dramatically. During this time they also do a complete fleet overhaul to ensure the bikes are in mint condition for relaunch.
2.
Will it go back into hibernation next winter?
Zagstar relies on rider data and the weather to help determine if the system will hibernate or run all year.
3.
What is new about the program?
Zagstar has overhauled all of their bikes and updated their pricing structure. After reviewing last year's ridership data, Pace is updating their fees to $1 for 15 minutes and a new subscription based plan. Pace also made improvements to their operations to improve overall rider experience and operations.
4.
Will there be more bikes added to the program this year?
Zagstar launched last spring with 200 bikes and plans on maintaining that fleet throughout this year. More bikes may be added as ridership demand increases.
5.
Are any new bike station locations being considered for?
This year Zagstar will be adding a number of public bike racks to the app, which will act as honorary Pace parking locations for users.
