2. Classroom Education Kit Request

   
   

   Keep Norfolk Beautiful's Educator Kits offer engaging environmental education and activities for Norfolk educators to use in the classroom. The kits provide hands-on learning and activities to help build awareness and further understanding of the human impact on the environment. As well as ways students can help make a difference. 

4. About the Educator Kits

   - Kindergarten through First-grade kits will include the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle activity book, Rocky the Recycling Racoon coloring and activity book, 1 reading book, pencils, and an educator thank you gift. 

   - The Human Impact educator kit for grades 2nd through 6th includes the Green Learning Guide and activity sheets, Plastics in Our Environment lesson guide, reduce plastic use pledge and bead reuse ideas flyer (also available as PDF), pencils, and a teacher gift.

   - Activities are designed around VA SOL's in reading, writing, math, and science.

19. Pickup Information

    Education Kits should be requested at least 3 business days in advance. Below you can request two options for pickup. An email will be sent confirming the day and time.

    Our office is located at 3500-A Granby St, by the Virginia Zoo, in Lafayette Park. Scheduling a time is required for pickup.

    Available Pickup Days and Times

    • Tuesday: 9 AM to 4 PM
    • Wednesday: 12 PM to 4 PM
    • Thursday: 9 AM to 4PM
    • Friday: 9 AM to 2 PM
