Virginia Arts Festival presents The InHEIRitance Project: EXODUS: Homecoming

A brand new play co-created through conversations wit the community, that reimagines the 7 cities as an intergenerational family, and explores the hidden (and not so hidden) struggles of the 757.

Each show will be followed by a talkback panel with members of the creative team and local leaders to discuss the themes of play, the process of making it, and the possibilities for Hampton Roads.

Thursday May 5th, 7:30pm

Talkback panelists; Dr. Johnny Finn (Associate Professor of Geography at Christopher Newport University), Brittney Harris (Assistant Professor of Theatre at Old Dominion University), Zhailon Levinston (Broadway Director, Storyteller and Activist), The Rev. John Rohrs (St. Andrews Episcopal Church), Dr. Rebecca Schorsch (Jewish Educator, Administrator and Artist) & Jon Adam Ross (Co-founder & Managing Director of The In[HEIR]itance Project).

Friday May 6th, 7:30pm

Talkback panelists; Paula Bazemore (Hampton Roads Program Manager at the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities), Michelle Ellis-Young (Chief Executive Officer of YWCA South Hampton Roads), Zhailon Levinston (Broadway Director, Storyteller and Activist), Patrick Mullins (Local Producer, Director, Playwright, and Actor) & Chantal Pavageaux (Co-founder & Artistic Director of The In[HEIR]itance Project).

Saturday May 7th, 2:30pm
