  1. Offsite Gallery exhibition "Eclectic", a group show of 6 Hampton Roads, VA artists

    September 26, 2020, 11:00 AM - November 6, 2020, 7:00 PM @ Offsite Gallery at MacArthur Center

    Exhibition on view through Nov. 6th. Gallery hrs: Monday-Saturday 11am-7pm, Sunday: 12-6pm "Eclectic" aptly describes the individual styles celebrated in this exhibition of 6 Hampton Roads, Virginia artists exploring a variety of mediums and making individual statements through innovative expression. Some of Tidewater’s best artistic approaches to design and color in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, assemblage, stained glass and collage are represented. Participating artists include Kathy Mosier (Governor's School art instructor), John Tobin (International award winning sculptor), Shara Wertz (Norview High School art educator), James Warwick Jones (former Gallery director at the Charles Taylor Visual Arts Center & Peninsula Fine Arts Center), Julie Stanton (US Navy veteran & self taught artist), Katherine Nash (local interior designer & stained glass artist).

  3. Art Crawl 2020

    October 10, 2020, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    The Chesapeake Bay Art Association 2020 Art Crawl will give visitors a chance to peek inside some creative spaces, & to view some wonderful fine arts & crafts in outside spaces on tables & in tents. This free, self-guided driving tour in Hampton Roads will cover Norfolk & Virginia Beach with plenty of room to grow in the coming years. Saturday, Oct. 10 - Our Norfolk tour is numbered starting in the creativity-filled bay beach neighborhoods of East Beach & Ocean View & winds around some of the suburbs north of the NEON District including some city spaces & art centers. Sunday, Oct. 11 - Our Virginia Beach tour is numbered starting east of Chic’s Beach by the bay & down into the heart of Virginia Beach, close to Chesapeake & then north to an easy ride out to the oceanfront.
