    CANCELED - This poignant drama provides female perspectives of the Vietnam War told through the true stories of five nurses and a USO singer. A Piece of My Heart is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC. To show our appreciation to women in the military, we will have a Wall of Honor in our greenroom during the play's run. Recognize someone or yourself by emailing or message us on social media. Provide: name, photo, "about" blurb by February 28. The Wall of Honor is for any woman who served any time.

  3. POSTPONED Hampton Roads’ LGBTQ Career Expo

    March 21, 2020, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ ODU Chartway Arena

    On March 21, prospective LGBTQ job seekers, interns, and volunteers will meet with employment, volunteer, and internship recruiters at OutWork757, Hampton Roads’ LGBTQ Career Expo at Old Dominion University in Norfolk. The second annual Expo is from 11 AM until 3 PM in the Big Blue Room at ODU’s Chartway Arena and will feature more than 40 recruiters from area corporations, non-profit organizations and government agencies. The Expo is the keystone event in a week-long schedule of career-oriented training and events for LGBTQ jobseekers and recruiters. At the 2019 Expo, recruiters were present from 42 corporations, agencies and municipalities, including from the cities of Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Norfolk Southern Corporation, Cox Communications, and Dominion Energy.
