They can signify heritage, religious affiliation, political views, and more. In this exhibition, the James Wise Gallery has invited artists to consider the racial, social, cultural, and political meanings of our "crowns."

    The VIVID Exhibition features both 2D and 3D artworks from across the country in all mediums that are exceptionally vibrant, bold, loud, and/or brilliant in color! We want our patrons to experience an EXPLOSION of color as they enter this exhibit! This is a juried exhibition, and it was co-curated by gallery manager, Amanda Bradley, and exhibition juror, Rachel McCall. The call reached 41 states. 287 artists submitted for a total of 1,039 submissions. d’Art’s Gallery Manager and the juror selected 64 pieces from 62 artists from 25 states!
