CLAUDIA BUENO: ECHOES OF THE HEART June 10–October 8, 2023 Opening Celebration: Friday, June 9 Summer Exhibition Programs Beginning June 9, 2023, the Hermitage Museum will feature internationally recognized artist Claudia Bueno for a three-month solo exhibition. Born in Venezuela, Bueno creates stunning, interactive worlds that call forth our most intimate, foundational emotions and gives them seemingly limitless space in which to fully bloom. Metaphor and biology are forever married in works of sound, light, circuits, motors, wind and film. These mystical, immersive environments reflect her personal commitment to healing and inner growth and our collective fascination with the building blocks of our inner worlds—energy, consciousness and spirit.

National Recovery Day Celebration hosted by Norfolk Community Services Board Friday, Sept. 22 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. 7447 Central Business Park Dr. Norfolk, VA 23513 September is National Recovery Month, dedicated to recognizing those who have triumphed over substance abuse, trauma and mental health challenges and celebrating those who support that journey. Recovery is worth celebrating and that's why Norfolk Community Services Board is hosting a National Recovery Month celebration with food, music, health and wellness screenings, Narcan kits and educational materials.
