PUCK OF THE IRISH WEEKEND: Norfolk Admirals

We’re bringing back the green ice as part of our Puck of the Irish weekend!
Come on out and celebrate Norfolk Admirals, Irish style.
 
50th ANNUAL SAINT PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
  Saturday, March 17th
  The Parade steps off at 10 A.M.
  2018 Grand Marshall:  Hubert Davenport
  Parade route - from Northside Middle School, located on Westmont Avenue and Granby Street, units will proceed north on Granby Street, left onto A View Avenue, turn left on First View Street, right onto W. Government Avenue, ending at the intersection of First View and Government Avenue.
 
Government Avenue from First View Street to Hickory Street will remain closed until 4:30 PM.
On-street parking is available on most of the adjacent blocks along the parade route. Offstreet parking is available at the Sarah Constant Beach Park, Ocean View Beach Park, and Ocean View Elementary.
Don't miss the After Parade Party starting at 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  at the Columbian Club of Ocean View for live music, food, and fun. There will be a variety of food vendors and live music. This event is free (21 and up).
This years bands will be: TBA (inside the Hall) and Tidewater Drive (outside). The party is held immediately following the parade and is hosted by The Columbian Club of Ocean View starting at noon at 211 W. Government Ave, Norfolk, VA.

O'CONNOR'S 8TH ANNIVERSARY and ST. PADDY'S DAY CELEBRATION

Join us as we celebrate O’Connor Brewing Co.’s 8th anniversary and St. Patrick’s Day at our first big party of the year!
Start off the day with Irish dancers from 12:30-1:30 P.M. We’ll have live Irish-themed music from Celtic trio Glasgow Kiss from 2:00-5:00 P.M. And from 6:00-8:00 P.M. is Lara Hope & The Ark-Tones, a Roots & Rockabilly band from Kingston, NY.
We will have a lineup of specialty stouts, crafted exclusively for this event. As always, we’ll have our World Beer Cup Award winning ODIS, a staple for any St. Patrick’s Day party, including Nitro ODIS in cans. Oh, and of course, GREEN BEER!!!
Parking is limited, so please consider biking, carpooling, or utilizing our friends at App A Cab, a Norfolk-based company.
 
SAINT HAT TRICK'S DAY GREEN JERSEY AUCTION: Norfolk Admirals

The green ice will stick around for a second night, plus the team will be wearing a specialty green jersey that will be auctioned off by PAPCO to benefit MDA!
Additionally, happy hour specials and $.50 hot dogs courtesy of Smithfield foods.
