As the premiere waterfront venue of Norfolk, the City strives to ensure Town Point Park events are of the highest caliber. Therefore, the application and vetting process is thorough and highly competitive. Those interested in hosting an event must be able to demonstrate a history of successful large-scale event production in a similar venue. Additionally, the event concept must be a unique addition to the annual programming in Town Point Park.
Town Point Park is not available for private events, which includes but is not limited to birthday parties, weddings or any “private” events that are invitation only. The application deadline is 9 months (270 days) prior to the requested event date.
