Food Manager Recertification
Registration
Participants must register for any class by paying the appropriate fee. Registration at least three weeks in advance is recommended to ensure there is space available in the desired class. Checks can be made payable to:

Costs
  • Food Manager Recertification Course: $60

Parking
Parking is available in the gated lot in front of the Norfolk Department of Health the day of the class beginning at 07:45am until 5:00 pm.

Test Language Availability
The test is available in several different languages including Spanish, Modern Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, Vietnamese, and English.

You must request a foreign language examination at least two months prior to attending class to allow for delivery time.

Cancellation Policy
Participants must call to cancel at least 2 business days prior to their scheduled class date to receive a refund. There is a non-refundable administration and materials fee of $20 for the Certified Food Manager Recertification Course.

Transfer Policy
Participants must call to cancel at least 2 business days prior to their scheduled class date to request a transfer into a different class. Participants can only transfer once. No refund will be issued after a transfer has been requested.
