Coastal Management and Review Board
The board was established to monitor changes in the beach and dune environment and to assess the progress of management projects that may be undertaken pursuant to any adopted sand management plan. The board was designed to comprehensively address the beaches and dunes along the Chesapeake Bay shore to evaluate and report on the efficacy of such projects, pursuant to Norfolk City Code 49-38.

The board shall consist of twelve (12) members who shall serve without compensation.

Membership Composition:

Members are appointed by City Council, and serve for terms of two (2) years. A chair is elected and serves a term of one year with the possibility of self-succession.
