Community Policy and Management Team
The policy of this board is to maximize the use of state and community resources to better serve the needs of troubled and at-risk youth and their families under the State Children’s Services Act, pursuant to Virginia State Code 2.2-5204 and Norfolk City Code 2-530.

The board shall consist of twelve (12) members who shall serve without compensation.

Membership Composition:

The heads of the following agencies are to be members of the Community Policy and Management Team:
  • Community Services Board
  • Juvenile Court Services Unit
  • Department of Health
  • Division of Social Services
  • School Board of the City of Norfolk
  • Department of Human Services
  • A representative of a private organization which serves children or families
  • A parent who is not an employee of any public or private organization that serves children or families
