Erosion Advisory Commission
Duties of this commission include: determining the erosion problems of city beaches and erosion control projects, assessing program implementation, and strategizing to counteract those problems. It then assesses the program implementation and effectiveness, pursuant to Norfolk City Code Section 49-34.

Membership Composition:

Members are appointed by City Council, and serve for terms of two years. A chair is elected and serves a term of one year with the possibility of self-succession.
