Health Services Advisory Board
The board advises the director of public health on matters that relate to the public health of the city. Board members participate with community representatives in the creation of a plan for the development, coordination, and evaluation of local health service systems, pursuant to section 32.1-31 of the Code of Virginia.

Membership Composition:

Fifteen (15) members from health care providers, recipients of health department services, state and local agencies with programs operated in conjunction with the health department, and the public at large. Limit of 2 elected officials.
