HHW and E-waste Site will Close

The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Convenience Center located at 1176 Pineridge Road will continue to accept household hazardous waste (HHW) through June 29th.  Effective July 1st, hazardous waste acceptance will move to SPSA’s Norfolk Transfer Station located at 3136 Woodland Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23504.  The hours of operations will be from noon until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The City of Norfolk’s Towing facility continues to accept electronic waste 24-hours a day. That facility is located at 1188-A Lance Road, Norfolk, VA 23502

Small household electronics such as televisions, printers, video games, etc. may be recycled for free by Norfolk residents and those businesses on the City of Norfolk waste collection system.
