HHW and E-waste Site Closed in observance of Memorial Day

The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Convenience Center located at 1176 Pineridge Road will be closed on Monday, 5/27/19, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. The facility will reopen on Tueday, 5/28/19, at 10:00 a.m.

The City of Norfolk’s Towing facility continues to accept electronic waste 24-hours a day. That facility is located at 1188-A Lance Road, Norfolk, VA 23502.

Small household electronics such as televisions, printers, video games, etc. may be recycled for free by Norfolk residents and those businesses on the City of Norfolk waste collection system. View a list of acceptable items. Two locations are available for collection:

The HHW and E-waste collection site is located at the back corner of the parking lot, near the baseball fields.

Norfolk residents are limited to five gallons or 75 pounds of materials per visit.
