Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Disposal

HHW and E-waste Site Closed

The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Convenience Center located at 1176 Pineridge Road will be closed on Friday, 5/10/19 and Saturday, 5/11/19. The facility will reopen on Monday, 5/13/19, at 10:00 a.m.

Due to the continuation of facility upgrades at SPSA’s Norfolk Transfer Station, Waste Management will continue to accept Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) through June 30. Residents may drop-off items at 1176 Pineridge Road between 10am-2pm, Monday through Saturday.

The City of Norfolk’s Towing facility continues to accept electronic waste 24-hours a day. That facility is located at 1188-A Lance Road, Norfolk, VA 23502.

Old paints, automotive fluids, compact fluorescent bulbs, garden and household chemicals are accepted for free disposal at the following location:

The HHW and E-waste collection site is located at the back corner of the parking lot, near the baseball fields.
