Peer Recovery Services
RECOVERY HAS A NEW HOME!
PRDC logo.jpg

Norfolk Peer Recovery Services will operate under the umbrella of the Norfolk Community Service Board to provide peer recovery services to all individuals living in recovery from a mental illness and/or substance use disorder.

We have members who have been trained and certified by the Department of Behavioral Health to assist others in recovery and wellness, as well as
self-help programs and emerging best practice education.  Through peer-led non-clinical services, peers will help encourage participants to learn and practice recovery skills, as well as to exercise choice and decision-making responsibility in a safe, friendly and supportive environment.

The center's hours of operation are: Fridays 5:00pm-8:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am-3:00pm.  For more information, contact Raymond Barnes at (757)664-6670.

We truly believe that, together, we will make a difference!
