Equipment Rental

SevenVenues outdoor operations team facilitates the rental of City event equipment for Norfolk community special event use (public events only) and City of Norfolk produced events.

What type of equipment is rented out to the public?

  • Tents
  • Folding chairs and tables
  • Showmobiles

How do I submit a request or inquire about availability?
  1. Read the Event Rental Equipment Guidelines here and complete the Event Rental Equipment application.
  2. Prepare your application materials to submit a minimum of 30 calendar days prior to the event date.
  3. Email or drop off your complete application* – which includes the completed paperwork and $25 application fee – to SevenVenues. At our office, you may make a cash, check (made out to City of Norfolk) or credit card payment. You may contact our office to confirm availability of staff and/or equipment prior to paying application fee and submitting paperwork.
  4. A SevenVenues representative will contact you to confirm availability.**

*Incomplete applications will not be processed

** Submission of an application does not confirm reservation and/or availability for the event. Quantities are limited and a site visit may be required to confirm rentals. SevenVenues will always call to confirm.
