KNB has awesome volunteer opportunities for individuals, civic and faith-based organizations, small and large businesses and military groups alike! Volunteers are the key to reducing litter in the City of Norfolk, conserving our natural resources, and enhancing community pride. Opportunities include litter cleanups, shoreline debris removal, environmental education, planting projects, and wetland preservation, to name a few. Opportunities are listed below. 

Adopt-A-Spot (ongoing)

Details: There are many locations around Norfolk that need regular care. The Adopt-A-Spot program is a coordinated effort between Keep Norfolk Beautiful and our volunteers to reduce litter throughout the city. Each year, Adopt-A-Spot volunteers prevent thousands of pounds of litter from entering our waterways. Learn more or sign up HERE!

International Coastal Cleanup:

Details: We are hosting the annual International Coastal Cleanup September 10- October 31. Join the international volunteer opportunity to collect, track, and remove litter from Norfolk's beaches and waterways. What will you find at our next cleanup? Sign up today and see for yourself. 

Getting Involved Is Easy:  
Join us at Bay View Elementary School on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 11:00 - 1:00pm when we all become litter detectives! There will be raffle prizes and it will be fun for the entire family!.

Clean Out to Cleanup (America Recycles Day November 17, 2018)

Details: Join Keep Norfolk Beautiful at Waste Management on Saturday November 11, for the fall clean out event! Bring your household items and old clothes to donate to Good Will. Eggleston will be on site for document shredding. Also drop off Household Hazardous Waste and e-cycling.
