The NBN Academy offers a variety of training that was developed by the NBN Steering Committee.  The committee is made up of residents and city staff who focus on peer-to-peer, interactive training that supports NBN core concepts.

Goal:

Working with Different Personalities February 12, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with the Lindenwood/Cottage Heights/Barraud Park Civic League.  Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 2401 Ludlow St.
Governance, Bylaws, and Roberts Rules Extended Session March 30, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Third Precinct Community Room, 901 Asbury Ave.
Neighborhood Standards and Code Enforcement April 9, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Olde Huntersville Civic League at the Huntersville Multi-purpose Center, 830 Goff St.
Neighborhood Resilience and Emergency Prep Game with General Russel Honore May 6, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Third Precinct, 901 Asbury Ave..
Neighborhood Secrets Tour June 3, 6:00 p.m to 7:30 p.m.  Meet in the parking lot of the Jordan Newby Anchor Branch Library.
NBN Conference & Awards Luncheon June 22, 8:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Old Dominion University Webb Center, 1526 W. 49th Street.
