Rent Ready Norfolk
Rent Ready Norfolk (RRN) is a free, voluntary and comprehensive rental education and support program designed to inform landlords, property managers and tenants about how to be a good landlord/neighbor and maintain residential rental property qualities and standards.
The program offers services such as:
- Community Engagement: Engagement with homeowners, renters, civic leagues, landlords and property managers about misconception of renters.
- Residential Rental Education: A series of courses to inform and educate property owners, property managers, and renters about property maintenance of residential rentals, attracting and maintaining residents, and how to be good neighbors, landlords, and renters.
- Residential Quality Assessment: An assessment of a rental unit’s interior, exterior and common area for any violations once the landlord and/or property manager completes the program certification.
- Rental Resource Bank: Connecting both landlords and tenants with resources and services that can aid in maintaining quality rental properties and fostering positive living environments.
