Hampton Boulevard between Woodview Avenue and Rogers Avenue.
Scope of Work
- Install median barriers at the unsignalized intersections to prevent left turns from side streets or driveways onto Hampton Boulevard.
- A companion project will install pedestrian signals at Glendale Avenue and Beechwood Avenue.
Project Information
The City of Norfolk Department of Transit is proposing median safety improvements on Hampton Boulevard between Woodview Avenue and Rogers Avenue. These improvements will advance Norfolk's Complete Streets Initiative and Vision Zero resolution by promoting safe access for all pedestrians , bicyclists, motorists, and transit users of all ages and abilities in the community and by providing traffic calming benefits.
